BeLiteWeight started in 2004, with a small group of passionate weight reduction surgery patients. Our team started with only one physician offering Lap Band® Surgery (Adjustable Gastric Band). Over a decade later, we are a passionate and greatly experienced group with over 12 equally, 000 Banded successfully, Sleeved, or Bypassed patients.
Our administration and Patient Counselors now encompass over 20 individuals. This experienced and dedicated team of experts are devoted to helping folks have weight-loss surgery. Our surgeons provide a full range of Bariatric Surgery Procedures in multiple locations in America, Mexico, and Europe. In 2007, we added a Medicare Coordination Department.
This was an exciting expansion for us. We were able to offer patients who have Medicare parts A & B coverage, the opportunity to have weight-reduction surgery (Lap Band® , Gastric Sleeve or Gastric Bypass Surgery). We applied a streamlined system to help patients get around the challenging requirements of Medicare, in order to have their surgery rather than waiting years quickly. Today this department continues to serve the Medicare community in growing numbers.
Our personnel are empathetic to the problems of obesity and the health issues that arise from being overweight. Many offer options to match any budget, day passes and one classes from yearly or monthly memberships to. Financial assistance may be available for individuals who qualify also. Facilities, classes, and programs at the “Y” vary by branch but many are comparable to more expensive private gyms. Fitness centers usually include free weights, the level of resistance equipment and exercise machines like treadmills, stair steppers, elliptical instructors, and fixed bicycles. Most have group exercise classes as well, such as spinning, yoga, Pilates, aqua exercise, step, and dance-based fitness classes. Some branches offer fighting techniques instruction, squash and racquetball courts, pools, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, indoor working tracks, basketball courts and a free of charge orientation session with an individual trainer for new members.
Many have programs customized to children, teenagers, pregnant women, seniors, and adults. Amenities like sundecks, coat checks, juice bars, complimentary towels, and laundry and spa services may be missing, but the savings can be substantial. City parks and entertainment programs may also offer in house fitness facilities at reduced rates. The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation offers a typical gym membership for only fifty dollars per year, per season and account at centers with interior private pools for seventy-five dollars.
Starting at age group fifty-five, elderly people pay only ten dollars and youngsters under the age of eighteen get free account each year. Several centers are available in each borough. Find free exercise opportunities in parks and other open up spaces. Facilities range from baseball diamonds, soccer areas, disc golf courses, running tracks, hiking trails, pathways for walking and in-line skating, and playing golf, basketball, and volleyball courts.
Some offer seasonal facilities like swimming pools and beaches, kayak and canoe rentals, ice-skating rinks and paths for cross-country winter sports and snow-shoeing. You can also get creative and make the park your gym. Design your own workout free of charge using equipment found in parks and playgrounds commonly. Do pull-ups on the uneven bars to strengthen arms. Hang from the monkey bars, tighten your core (torso) muscles and lift your legs toward your chest to strengthen abdominal muscles. Do push-ups on recreation area benches or decrease your body off the chairs for tricep dips.
